Ten years ago, there was minimal consideration to apply sustainable practices and principles within the commercial construction sector. Friends and founders Wayne Kelly and Jeremy Magee felt these consumerist and wasteful actions were soul destroying, not to mention the negative impact on the environment. The two friends collectively have over 40 years of experience in the industry and believed there was a promising position to lead green change. And Eco-Essence Homes was born.

Wayne and Jeremy cut their teeth sharing a combined passion for creating inspiring spaces and a yearning for eco-conscious practises. They continue to aspire to be different by designing with nature, while also enhancing the lifestyle of all homeowners, presently and for the future.

Wayne & Jeremy: We did not intend to build hundreds of homes. The truth is that we were more focused on making sure we got our morning surf in than getting the next build. Lucky for us, home owners also shared in our values and vision.

We held the reins back for the first few years but the enquiries kept flowing in. So in early 2018, it was decided to allow Eco-Essence Homes to make a difference in the lives of more people.
